are working hard in the classroom and building their skills in their sport every
day. We see the confidence growing in so many young athletes and the larger
understanding of commitment and teamwork by all athletes. The support they
share between them is outstanding!

a great night for our Lionettes! Our Lionettes were focused and prepared and
the results show it! We travel to McKinney Johnson net Thursday, Oct. 13th to
battle the Lady Tigers of JMS. Games begin at 5:00pm. The DMS VB program
decorated a total of 16 boxes and collected 324 pounds of non-perishable food
items plus toiletries, puzzles, books, cards and games to be delivered to the elderly.
The boxes are being donated to Meals on Wheels of Collin County. AWESOME!!
Dowell 7th and 8th Football Teams were all victorious last Tuesday night over
Faubion. Strong defensive efforts in all of the games provided our offense with
great field position and many opportunities. Football Teams will battle Johnson
next Tuesday, Oct. 11th. 8th @ Boyd 7th @ MNHS Games start at 5:30pm
The Dowell Band attended the 8th grade games @ Boyd last Tuesday night and
provided all of us with some super sounds and boosted DMS Spirit vs. Faubion.
NO SCHOOL/PRACTICE this Monday, Oct. 10th. We will start up again on Tuesday.
Enjoy the 3 day weekend with your athlete and create some quality time together.
GO DOWELL!!!!!
