a backhand, throwing, and having a good time! Big numbers out for track and our 24 Tennis players
all together are making coaches smile and creating an exciting atmosphere for all. Efforts really are
strong and competition is amazing during practices! Very Proud of our Athletes and Coaches!!!
Our MISD Athletic Word of the Week has been “Relationships-Family and Friends”. Coaches visited

being there for one another. Developing strong relationships with both.

ATHLETES MUST PASS ALL CLASSES FOR SPRING SPORTS
I’m so optimistic about our spring sports and our athletes who compete in them. They have done
some excellent work so far! Their confidence is strong! They have made some mistakes but have
not given up and really have responded with positivity and courage. Coaches have talked about
mistakes – it will happen – they remind athletes that mistakes are temporary and changeable . Just
refocus, don’t worry, give it your best! They are making a difference!
Have a great spring break with your athlete! We’ll start up again March 13th – fully energized and
ready to attack the weight room/courts/track and field!
