are working strong too. With the Dowell Tennis Match coming up on March 6th and
Dowell Track Meet coming up March 7th – we are in overdrive to be prepared and
ready for the first competition of our spring sports. The weather has created some
challenges but our athletes have been awesome in making adjustments and getting
in quality workouts!
Tickets are on sale - in all lunches - for the AHA fundraiser here at Dowell on March
9th - for $5.00 - a purchased wristband allows a student to participate in the AHA
Love Your Heart Challenge at Dowell on March 9th from 1:55pm to 3:45pm – with
fun activities in both gyms and outside the building at DMS – what a great way to
support AHA and start off spring break!!

The MISD Athletic Words of the Week has been Team Work. Tennis Coach and
Track Coaches visited with their athletes and off season coaches also talked up
working together to benefit each other in spirit, function and results – care for
one another even away from athletics. Our Dowell Athletes of the week are:
