8th Grade
On Saturday, your 8th grade B and C volleyball team took on Propser Hays and came out with 2 wins respectively.
C team started off the morning with a quick win 25-9 and 25-17. Ava Hutchison and Ava Simpson both had 12 digs, while Kendall McCord and Rylie Douat both had 4 kills.
B team finished the morning with another great 2 set win 25-21 and 25-14. Alexa Bengert had 5 aces, and Kamdyn Haney and Sienna Schutte both had 3 kills.
7th Grade
The 7th Grade Dowell Lionette Volleyball team competed against Prosper Hays Middle School Saturday at Dowell. The B team took control with their serves and beat Hays 25-8 and 25-5. Layla Iglesias, Morgan Edwards, and Mia Southwell led the team with their aces.
The C team pulled off a win in the third set. Savannah Heihn and Abby Shown defended the net with 2 blocks each. Beck M. and Alex W. led the offense by putting up 4 aces each! Great job girls. The 7th grade volleyball team will play at home this Thursday against Prosper Reynolds!
