The Blue “B” team lost in 2 games with scores of 10-25 and 22-25. Makenzie Coop and Alli Zarbaugh both had solid nights at the net with 3 kills each. Kaylin Chapin had 3 great blocks and 2 tip kills at the net. Kylie Campbell and Gigi Miller both had strong defensive games with 4 saves each. Keep working hard ladies! Hopefully we will get another shot at the Eagles this weekend at the B-Team District Tournament.
The Gold “A” team had some great rallies and played one of their best games of the season, but sadly lost 21-25 and 20-25 ending their undefeated run in district. Claire Russell was the most agile on the court, saving the ball 6 times to keep it in play, as well as serving 7 points which included 2 aces. Avery Calame had 4 big blocks and 5 kills. Hannah Billiter had a great night on the service line with 6 serves and 3 aces to go along with her 5 saves, 5 kills and 1 block. Bella Vaught also kept the ball off the floor with 6 defensive saves. We know where we are weak and what to work on. We’ll be ready for PR next weekend at the A Team District Tourney!
Closing out the evening, the White “C” team hustled their tails off and fought hard 21-25 and 20-25. Allison Lane was AMAZING on the service line, serving 11 straight points in game 1, including 6 aces! Natalie Burrell also served up 8 great serves including 3 aces. Kailyn Perry had 2 tips kills and Mia Engleman stepped up on the net this week with 2 tip kills and 2 saves to keep the ball in play as well. Nice job ladies! Way to fight hard to the end!
The last district game of the season is away next Thursday, November 2nd against Highland Park Middle School. One Heart, One Team, LIONETTES!
The Blue “B” team lost with 13-25 in both games. Sophia Ricci was the outstanding defensive player of the game, always in the correct positioning to dig the ball. She also served 5 points, including 2 aces! Ava Patterson had a hit and a free ball kill. Sophie Habrat and Ella Mauceri each tipped the ball to score a point for their team. Keep working hard!

Reagan Brown was most agile on the court, saving the ball 3 different times to keep it in play, as well as serving 6 points which included 4 aces. Presleigh Morris had a great save from off the court, as well as 3 serving points. Middle blocker Holland Hannon had 2 kills at the net. Way to go!
Closing out the evening, the White “C” team lost with scores of 17-25 and 7-25. Outstanding server of the game was Kathryn Huggins with 6 points, including 2 aces! Peyton Yon served an ace to earn her team a point and had many great passes to the setter. Nice job!
