Also, there has been one tryout requirement that has changed from previous years. Each incoming 9th grader will be required to run a mile in under 8:30 in order to be eligible for tryouts. We will start timing miles for athletes who want to tryout for volleyball in high school next Friday to insure that our Dowell Lionettes are ready for this challenge!
