NJHS Meetings are scheduled on the first Monday that school is in session each month, following the induction ceremony.
Membership Information
_National Junior Honor Society is a service oriented organization which
strives to promote leadership and citizenship skills in it's members. Membership in NJHS is granted after careful consideration of
applications by our membership committee. This membership is the highest
honor that the school can bestow on a student because it acknowledges
excellence, not just in one activity, but in all. Students are invited to
join NJHS after they have exhibited these standards of excellence:
Scholarship, Leadership, Service, Citizenship and Character.
NJHS students are our future community leaders and, as such, are expected to be positive role models to their peers as well as to others. Membership Requirements

Community & School Service Hours
_
Students owe 6 hours of service each semester. Only three of those hours may be served at school. Failure to complete service hours will result in termination of
membership.
Meeting Attendance
_ Attendance at meetings is
mandatory. Email your sponsor if you know you will be absent from the meeting. After two unexcused absences,
students will be removed from NJHS.
