Dear Dowell Family,
I am amazed with the work our students commit to in all our programs. Over the past two weeks, I have had the pleasure of attending the orchestra, choir and band concerts. Just think, only four months ago 6th grade band and orchestra touched their instruments for the very first time. You had to endure the squawking and squeaking tones for what it seemed like a lifetime. It is hard for me to imagine how much our kids grow musically from 6th to 8th grade. I truly understand how much of a time and money commitment it takes for our students to participate in our fine arts. Believe me, it is well worth it. Also, I want to thank Dr. Jennifer Pierson for allowing us to using Boyd’s auditorium for our winter concerts. One more week until winter break!! Have a great weekend!! AAA |
