One minute it is summer and the next it is fall!! My apologies for just now getting my first blog post of the year. So much to report, but first and foremost...make sure you check out our Facebook page, YouTube Channel, and Twitter feed for Dowell. Twitter and Facebook will be pretty similar in content and any school related videos will be available on our YouTube Channel.
We will begin hosting our Unplugged events again this year starting October 22nd. This year instead of Thursday Unplugged we will be hosting Wednesday Unplugged! Tentative dates for this semester will be 10/22, 11/19, and 12/17. Students can check in with Mrs. Willardson in the Learning Commons to pick up a sign-up sheet. All acts must be approved one week before the performance.

Book Fair is arriving in November this year! Make sure you stay tuned for future announcements, as we are hoping to have one major book fair blowout this year instead of one in the fall and one in the spring. More information to come!
Finally, make sure you check out the databases tab if you have any assignments coming up that require research! You can find great information on these sites without using a search engine!
